Stare Down

So you know when you watch Americas Funniest Home Movies and you think how were they able to get that on film, well my friend I have actually done it. I got home from watching the Oscars last night to find my cats having a stare down competition with with the neighborhood cat through the glass door anywise all of the sudden I hear a THUMP! and well see for yourself.....

The best part about this is that this wasn't the first or even the second time that cat did this, that is how I had enough time to find the camera and get the shot in. Poor little Ashlyn did not like the noise that snuggles was making. wow didn't know she had it in her.

Sacrament

What a day today. I decided to go to church for the first time since Ashlyn was born, well maybe not the first but its been a long time. In order to make this happen I had to get up at 6am so that I could get Nate, AShlyn and Myself ready before 9am, that my fried is commitment. And it wouldn't have happened if I didn't Pray the night before to make sure that I didn't sleep in and that all would go smoothly. Little did I know that his idea of not letting me sleep in was having Ashlyn wake up at 630 am, well I have to say thank you because it worked.....

So anywise I got everyone up and dressed without any major problems. Then we get to sacrament. They had a very nice musical number by the ward choir, when it ended all was quiet except for the two year old next to me yelling " Yeah, Yeah" while clapping. I was so embarrassed! She made it up to me when she tried to sing the hymns with everyone. ahhhh, ooooo. It was precious!

Then we ended the night with Oscars at my parents house and a cat trying to break into my house ( video to come ), and it not like when I thought the deer tried to break into my house...

My new home phone

This is the cooliest thing ever! It works as a regular phone and a video phone! And best of all it runs on the internet, Good bye phone lines!

I can't wiat to have this christmas morning! We will hook it up to the tv and see everyone in life size.

I wish we had this while nate was in the hospital he wouldn't have missed so much of ashlyns life.

This was just too funny I had to share. I know that I am a mean mommy because I have never lasughed so hard in my life. Normaly she loves anything to do with Sesame street especially Elmo, but for some reason Cookie monster dressed up as a baby freaks her out! It has ever since she was little. We havnt watched this Elmo in a longime so I forgot all about it and figured that she would be over it but no still terrified!!

I think she has a problem with white/gray hair or bonnets on their heads, or maybe she is affraid of gray hair because of this video. hmm

Oy with the poodles already

Lorelai: Huh. You know what I just relized? Oy is the funniest word in the entire world.
Rory: Huh.
Lorelai: I mean, think about it. You never hear the word oy and not smile. Impossible. Funny, funny word.
Lorelai: Poodle is another funny word
Emily: Please drink your drink lorelai
Lorelai: in fact if you put oy and poodle together in the same sentence, youd have a great new catch phrase, you know? Like, Oy with the poodles already. So from now on, when the perfect circumstances arise, we will use our favorite new catch phrase
Rory: Oy with the poodles already.
Lorelai: Im telling ya its knocking "what you talkn' bout willis" right out of first place.
Emily: Lorelai be quiet
